Is It All In The Act?

“To do is to be.
To be is to do”

We question ourselves often if our thinking and our consciousness really going to solve the problem or is it going to complicate it? Is future that’s so far going to hinder my present and we leave the our thinking and present speculations to dust and move on with what’s really happening. Sometimes, we don’t have that previlige to move on with our thinking and we get stuck with our thought and they just don’t end.

But is it worthwhile to do the former thing. To live in the reality intermingled with complications without using ourselves. To not use ourselves for our surroundings and after all “Is it all in the act itself”? I believe it is not all in the act. In our world of confusion and pretentiousness of acting tough and all-knowing, what separates two human beings is the thought. Even if the two human beings act the same, eat the same, walk the same, it’s thought is what counts. In our head, the world is abstracted with much more complications than it really is. We imagine the worst possibilities. Of our insecurities being poked and our whole Being overthrown by some other person. Even the most optimist thinkers will think the world through optimistic lens. Seeing the tree’s beauty for not what all of us sees, seeing people’s resentment towards you as them being hurt. Our heads will not count the world for who we are not. It shows us a film of who we are, our darkness and our light but the reality as we all know doesn’t lie in the 0 and 1. It’s spectrum and when we live the world with unfinished, un-concluded thoughts that are all scary and sometimes forcefully optimistic and sometimes healthy, we notice a world not being easy but simple. You will still see the things that you thought will see but the other person, the other institution also has a being that repels the darkness it might portray to you, and you will feel you were just anxious about nothing and next time around when you come by similar complications you deny your head as if it had nothing to do.

It’s not ability of perception but more like magic. Pretending everything we do is all in the act is a false notion to live by. A father that has outgrown teens life and everything still is confused, still is maddened and still overthinks like that of teen. He unconsciously embodies his brain’s imagination despite the short term pain unlike a kid that is still learning and defying his thoughts. It doesn’t matter what you choose, how you live, what you eat, but it does matter to know that it’s not all in the act and collective consciousness because that collectiveness includes you and you can change it when you change. Defying consciousness, education, knowledge, information will just wind you to the road of not being able to think and other people’s “magic” will drive you to incomprehension and finally bitterness towards everything. To do is to be, to be is to do.
